Excellent appetizers. The jalapeño relleno, the ceviche and the pulpo are a must. Best tostones we've had on the island. The mofongo cerdo was delicious as well. Amazingly sweet waitress :).

If you’re around Ponce and craving Puerto Rican food, Garavato’s Kwizin is a solid option. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating. They offer a cocktail menu with a mix of classics and some creative options. I think they could definitely expand it with more inventive choices. I found the Sunset cocktail very tropical. For starters, I recommend the Tablita, a sampler with wings, fried cheese, corn sorullos and chorizo. It’s perfect for sharing and kicks off the meal nicely. I ordered the trifongo stuffed with grouper in creole sauce, it was okay, but not particularly memorable. Others at my table tried the grilled chicken breast, pork ribeye, salmon, and fried pork. Everything was tasty, just not outstanding. The staff was friendly and got all the orders right. Service was a bit slow, though, so here’s a quick tip: order your main dish at the same time as the appetizers to save time. They accept credit cards and have a small parking areal. Overall, it’s a laid-back spot with decent food.

Stopped here on a whim and I’m glad we did! The red sangria and ceviche are incredible and come second only to Kevin’s wonderful service. If you’re in the area and looking for a chill environment, this is the spot.

Garavato's Kwizin serves delicious food in a very clean environment. However, its location on a busy street makes dining on the terrace less enjoyable, with the constant smell of gasoline, honking horns, and screeching tires from passing cars. Nonetheless, we still highly recommend this place for its outstanding cuisine! If possible, opt for indoor seating to fully savor the fantastic flavors without the street noise distraction.

We were passing through Ponce and wanted something delicious for lunch. A short walk from the Fuente de los Leones , this restaurant was amazing. Great service, large portions, and the kindest service. Great chance to try some Don Q and get some ideas for the rest of our trip from the manager. We will go back when we are in town next!
